Change Management Lead
Description:
- Responsible for developing an integrated change management plan, stakeholder analysis, change impact assessment, change readiness assessments; and participate in communication and learning/training activities
- Builds leadership coalitions and sponsorship networks to effectively manage people changes in the lines of business.
- Manage and resolve change-induced organizational risks, issues and interdependencies
- Follow established change management methodologies, and ensure integration with enterprise project management & change management methodologies
- Develop a change management strategy that will create a sustainable cultural change including a lean, continuous improvement and innovative culture
Change Architect/Organization Design Responsibilities
- Develop the short and long term change management vision & strategy for the client
- Propose industry best practices model, such as a phased approach model for implementing change management
- Provide a change management analysis
- Perform organizational change management and communication planning activities
- Develop, manage, and maintain the organizational change management plan for the entire project life cycle
- Provide an operational framework
- Design roles, jobs, teams, organizational and performance metrics based on processes and systems changes
- Provide periodic reports and metrics on organizational change management activities
- Provide training and upgrades to process/procedures for change management
- Design line of business training and performance support deliverables
- Assist in confirmation of business process designs and the analysis of changes to existing roles, jobs, and teams
Learning & Performance Support Coordination Responsibilities
- Analyze skill gaps and work with client to determine long term job based training needs
- Define the training and performance support requirements and articulating audience needs
- Develop Training curriculum for Change Management client efforts
Stakeholder Management & Communications Responsibilities
- Coordinate with the Stakeholders to determine communication strategies
- Assess stakeholder impacts including making recommendations on communications planning
- Continually align key messages with the changing business context
- Coordinate with the line of business to build sponsor networks and implement change effort
- Complete change readiness assessments, survey change capacity and thoroughly analyze the data and present recommendations
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years change management experience with leading change activities, including: change risk and readiness assessments, stakeholder analyses, change impact assessments, deployment planning
- Demonstrated success in designing and leading large-scale change from initial assessment through final implementation in a large organization and in a variety of organizational settings
- Organizational Change Assessment – experience in assessing an organization’s ability to adapt to process, system or people changes through mechanisms such as focus groups and surveys
- In-depth knowledge of theory and practice of organizational development and change, including organizational theory, organizational design, structure and processes of implementing change
- Demonstrated track record of cross-functional organizational diagnosis, planning, alignment, implementation and evaluation
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to effectively communicate ideas and persuade others to accomplish challenging goals and objectives
- Broad business knowledge and experience working across multiple business functions
- Strong proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint & Excel
Industry Experience
- Exposure to specific industries (e.g. utility/energy sector) preferred
- Exposure to specific functional areas – (systems integration, Communications Network, Meters, Advanced grid analytics, and Load monitoring) preferred
Certifications
- In depth exposure/certification in Lean training or Lean Six Sigma or other quality tools or training (preferred)
- Project Management certification (preferred)
